Hey open source lovers!
Here is the community post for episode 3, season 1 of the chmodcast. This post is a space for you to comment on the episode content or format, and share your feedback. I'll be reading every comment and taking notes, so do be kind ;)
As you may have noticed, I mostly meet our great guests via events where they are speaking. Sometimes, that gives me the perfect opportunity to record an interview in person and really get that uplifting energy that comes from these gatherings.
In this case however, nothing worked as expected! I was attending my first DjangoCon Europe in Edinburgh in May 2023, and Aisha Bello has caught my eye for an interview. I reached out, but she couldn't come in person and was giving her talk remotely. But she did tell me that her DjangoGirls podcast co-host, Leona So, would be there.
So of course, I reached out to Leona… only to find that the day I needed to leave was her day arriving at the conference! 😅 Sometimes, it just doesn't work out! We missed each other another time (damn you time zones!) but finally, we prevailed and recorded this interview in November of 2023. And that conversation was well worth a little tenacity 😉
If you haven't given it a chance yet, now is the time! Share it far and wide, in honor of the 10-year anniversary of the DjangoGirls:
